Martin is a highly qualified and experienced practitioner of both Oriental and Western Herbal Medicine. He holds degrees from Middlesex University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, specialising in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutrition. His comprehensive, full-time, five-year degree course included in-depth study of Western medicine, three years of clinical experience, and a five-month internship at two of Beijing’s largest hospitals in China. At the time, it was considered the most thorough degree programme of its kind in the UK and Europe.

With nearly 30 years’ experience, including training with modern masters such as Kiiko Matsumoto, Martin treats a wide range of conditions. These include digestive and circulatory problems, gynaecological issues, musculoskeletal pain, and other ailments such as insomnia, stress, and allergies. He also holds postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Endocrinology and a PhD in Medicine. Martin has taught acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutrition throughout the UK and Europe.
