Like so many others, Kemi was first introduced, and experienced the benefits of Pilates, whilst rehabilitating an ongoing injury; specifically a knee injury incurred during her dance training at The Laban Centre of Dance and Movement. Through that she became aware of the importance of Pilates not just as a rehabilitative approach, but as a way of supporting her training and dance career.
After starting a family, Kemi decided to become a Pilates teacher and started her training with Anne-Marie Zulkahari and Hana Jones. This was 10 years ago. Kemi brings sensitivity, dedication and a love of movement to her teaching, encouraging her clients to achieve self awareness and precision in their Pilates practise. She participates in ongoing professional development courses and is part of the Teacher Training team.
